How much does an Amazon agency cost? Real price ranges for 2026
Most Amazon agencies charge a monthly retainer of about $500 to $5,000, a percentage of sales (often 3% to 10%), or a mix. PPC-only management usually costs a flat fee or 10% to 20% of ad spend. One-off work such as listing optimization, reinstatement appeals or launches is priced per project. Small sellers can get solid help for under $1,000 a month.

Retainer, percentage of sales or hybrid?
- Flat retainer: predictable cost. Best when sales are steady or still small.
- Percentage of sales: aligns the agency with growth but gets expensive as you grow, and can reward discounting.
- Hybrid: a lower base plus a small percentage above a sales target. Common for brands above about $100k a month on Amazon.
What should be included?
- A named person who knows your account, not a rotating team.
- Weekly checks of Account Health, inventory and listing issues.
- PPC management with a clear target, such as ACoS or total ad cost of sales.
- A monthly report showing sales, ad spend, profit drivers and next steps.
- Response time for urgent issues such as suppressed listings or policy warnings.
Red flags
- Guaranteed rankings or guaranteed sales numbers.
- Long lock-in contracts with no exit before 6 or 12 months.
- "Review services" or anything that breaks Amazon's rules. Your account carries the risk, not theirs.
- No access for you to your own ad account and data.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is an Amazon agency worth it for a small seller?
Often yes, if the agency's fee is small compared with the profit it can add through better ads, listings and fewer account problems. Start with an audit to see where the money is.
Do Amazon agencies charge setup fees?
Some do, usually for onboarding, audits and rebuilding ad campaigns. Ask for it in writing before signing.
